Hand osteoarthritis (OA) is a common condition that causes pain, stiffness, and swelling in the joints of the hand. It often affects older adults and can make everyday tasks like gripping, opening jars, or writing difficult.
There is no cure for hand OA, but treatments like exercises, splints, and pain relief can help manage symptoms. In this study, we are testing special gloves made with smart fabric technology that may improve blood flow, reduce pain, and support healing.
This research aims to find out if wearing these gloves every day can help people with hand OA feel better and use their hands more easily.
